Campers

All Smiles!

Camp Callahan serves people ages 6 to 55 with special needs, physical or mental, that require the camp’s special environment. Campers come to Camp Callahan with a variety of physical and mental disabilities. These range from cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy and spina bifida, to chromosome disorders, downs syndrome, mental retardation, blindness, hearing impairments and various degrees of autistic disorders. There is virtually no need that Camp Callahan can’t meet.

Camp Callahan offers a challenging, exciting, and stimulating program for:

Physically disabled ages 6 to 13 in Session One
Mentally disabled ages 14 to 23 in Session Two
Mentally disabled ages 24 to 55 in Session Three

Any person in need of an alternative to a traditional camp experience is invited to apply to Camp Callahan.
