Camp Callahan serves people ages 6 to 65 with special needs, physical or mental, that require the camp’s special environment. Campers come to Camp Callahan with a variety of physical and mental disabilities. These range from cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy and spina bifida, to chromosome disorders, downs syndrome, mentally challenged, blindness, hearing impairments and various degrees of autistic disorders. There is virtually no need that Camp Callahan can’t meet.

Camp Callahan offers a challenging, exciting, and stimulating program in weekly sessions:

Ages 6 to 12 in Session One
Ages 24 to 65 in Session Two
Ages 13 to 23 in Session Three

Any person in need of an alternative to a traditional camp experience is invited to apply to Camp Callahan.  Applications can be found on the home page.
