Campers

Camp Callahan serves people ages 6 to 65 with special needs which would benefit from the camp’s special environment. Campers come to Camp Callahan with a variety of physical and mental disabilities including but not limited to cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, chromosome disorders such as Down syndrome, cognitive impairment, developmental delay, visual impairment, hearing impairment and Autism spectrum disorders. We also do our best to accommodate special dietary needs such as sugar free and gluten intolerance.  There is virtually no need that Camp Callahan can’t meet.

Camp Callahan offers a challenging, exciting, and

stimulating program in weekly sessions:

Ages 6 to 12 in Session One
Ages 13 to 20 in Session Two
Ages 21 to 65 in Session Three

Any person in need of an alternative to a traditional camp experience is invited to apply to Camp Callahan.  Applications can be found on the home page.
