Camp Callahan serves people ages 6 to 55 with special needs, physical or mental, that require the camp's special environment. Campers come to Camp Callahan with a variety of physical and mental disabilities. These range from cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy and spinal bifida, to chromosome disorders, downs syndrome, mental retardation, blindness, hearing impairments and various degrees of autistic disorders. There is virtually no need that Camp Callahan can't meet.

Up to thirty campers per one-week session can be accommodated while maintaining a 2-to-1 camper-to-staff ratio. Camp Callahan offers a challenging, exciting, and stimulating program for:

Physically disabled ages 14 to 21 in Session One
Mentally disabled ages 6 to 21 in Session Two
Mentally disabled ages 22 to 55 in Session Three

Any person in need of an alternative to a traditional camp experience is invited to apply to Camp Callahan.
